Rabbit FOXO1 Polyclonal Antibody | anti-FOXO1 antibody
Anti-FOXO1 (pS329) Phospho Antibody
Western Blot (WB)
(Western blot analysis of FOXO1 (pS329) expression in HEK293T (A), SHSY5Y (B), NIH3T3 (C), mouse brain (D) whole cell lysates.)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC)
(Immunohistochemical analysis of FOXO1 (pS329) staining in human lung cancer formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue section. The section was pre-treated using heat mediated antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH 6.0). The section was then incubated with the antibody at room temperature and detected using an HRP conjugated compact polymer system. DAB was used as the chromogen. The section was then counterstained with haematoxylin and mounted with DPX.)
Immunofluorescence (IF)
(Immunofluorescent analysis of FOXO1 (pS329) staining in HepG2 cells. Formalin-fixed cells were permeabilized with 0.1% Triton X-100 in TBS for 5-10 minutes and blocked with 3% BSA-PBS for 30 minutes at room temperature. Cells were probed with the primary antibody in 3% BSA-PBS and incubated overnight at 4 °C in a humidified chamber. Cells were washed with PBST and incubated with a DyLight 594-conjugated secondary antibody (red) in PBS at room temperature in the dark.)
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene belongs to the forkhead family of transcription factors which are characterized by a distinct forkhead domain. The specific function of this gene has not yet been determined; however, it may play a role in myogenic growth and differentiation. Translocation of this gene with PAX3 has been associated with alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
Uniprot Description
FOXO1A: a transcription factor of the forkhead family. A central regulator of metabolism in several cell types. May play an important role in myogenic growth and differentiation, and in the regulation of lipolysis in adipocytes by controlling the expression of adipose triglyceride lipase (ATGL), the rate-limiting lipolytic enzyme. Translocation of this gene with PAX3 has been associated with alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma. Contains 1 fork-head domain.
