Related Product Information for anti-FBX41 antibody
Members of the F-box protein family, such as FBXO41, are characterized by an approximately 40-amino acid F-box motif. SCF complexes, formed by SKP1 (MIM 601434), cullin (see CUL1; MIM 603134), and F-box proteins, act as protein-ubiquitin ligases. F-box proteins interact with SKP1 through the F box, and they interact with ubiquitination targets through other protein interaction domains (Jin et al., 2004 [PubMed 15520277]).[supplied by OMIM].

NCBI Description

This gene encodes a member of the F-box protein family, which is characterized by an approximately 40 amino acid motif, the F-box. F-box proteins constitute one of the four subunits of the SCF ubiquitin protein ligase complex that plays a role in phosphorylation-dependent ubiquitination. F-box proteins are divided into three classes depending on the interaction substrate domain each contains in addition to the F-box motif: FBXW proteins contain WD-40 domains, FBXL proteins contain leucine-rich repeats, and FBXO proteins contain either different protein-protein interaction modules or no recognizable motifs. The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the FBXO class. [provided by RefSeq, Feb 2014]

Product Notes

The FBX41 fbxo41 (Catalog #AAA6298199) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The FBX41, NT (FBXO41, FBX41, KIAA1940, F-box only protein 41) (Biotin) reacts with Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's FBX41 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), ELISA (EIA). WB: 1:100-500 ELISA: 1:1,000 Applications are based on unconjugated antibody. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the FBX41 fbxo41 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "FBX41, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
