Target Description: ESRRB encodes a protein with similarity to the estrogen receptor. Its function is unknown; however, a similar protein in mouse plays an essential role in placental development. This gene encodes a protein with similarity to the estrogen receptor. Its function is unknown; however, a similar protein in mouse plays an essential role in placental development. Sequence Note: The sequence AF094517.1 is from a chimeric clone. Only the ESRRB sequence was propagated into this RefSeq record. Uniprot Description
ERR2: Nuclear receptor, may regulate ESR1 transcriptional activity. Defects in ESRRB are the cause of deafness autosomal recessive type 35 (DFNB35). DFNB35 is a form of sensorineural hearing loss. Sensorineural deafness results from damage to the neural receptors of the inner ear, the nerve pathways to the brain, or the area of the brain that receives sound information. Belongs to the nuclear hormone receptor family. NR3 subfamily. 3 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.
Protein type: Nuclear receptor; Transcription factor; DNA-binding
Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 14q24.3
Cellular Component: nucleoplasm; nucleus
Molecular Function: ligand-dependent nuclear receptor activity; zinc ion binding; sequence-specific DNA binding; transcription coactivator activity; steroid hormone receptor activity; transcription factor binding; steroid binding
Biological Process: transcription initiation from RNA polymerase II promoter; embryonic placenta development; trophectodermal cell proliferation; intracellular receptor-mediated signaling pathway; regulation of transcription, DNA-dependent; stem cell maintenance; trophectodermal cellular morphogenesis; positive regulation of transcription from RNA polymerase II promoter; gene expression; steroid hormone mediated signaling

Product Notes
The ESRRB esrrb (Catalog #AAA3200828) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The ESRRB antibody - N-terminal region reacts with Cow, Dog, Guinea Pig, Horse, Human, Mouse, Rabbit, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's ESRRB can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the ESRRB esrrb for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The amino acid sequence is listed below: Synthetic peptide located within the following region: SSDASGGFGL ALGTHANGLD SPPMFAGAGL GGTPCRKSYE DCASGIMEDS. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "ESRRB, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
