Related Product Information for anti-ENTPD1 antibody
ENTPD1(Ectonucleoside triphosphate diphosphohydrolase 1) is also named as CD39,NTPDase 1,Ecto-ATPDase 1 and belongs to the GDA1/CD39 NTPase family. In the nervous system,it can hydrolyze ATP and other nucleotides to regulate purinergic neurotransmission. It is a noncovalent tetrameric protein and that detergent inhibition of enzymatic activity is caused by dissociation of ectoapyrase tetramers into monomers. And it is a 70- to 100-kDa protein that is heavily N-glycosylated. This protein has 6 glycosylation sites and 3 isoforms(58 kDa,59 kDa and 34 kDa) produced by alternative splicing. The soluble isoform of CD39(38-478 amino acid) locates to the extracellular part and this antibody can recognize the soluble form of CD39 (38-478aa) molecule.

NCBI Description

The protein encoded by this gene is a plasma membrane protein that hydrolyzes extracellular ATP and ADP to AMP. Inhibition of this protein's activity may confer anticancer benefits. Several transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Aug 2015]

Uniprot Description

ENTPD1: In the nervous system, could hydrolyze ATP and other nucleotides to regulate purinergic neurotransmission. Could also be implicated in the prevention of platelet aggregation by hydrolyzing platelet-activating ADP to AMP. Hydrolyzes ATP and ADP equally well. Belongs to the GDA1/CD39 NTPase family. 5 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Protein type: Membrane protein, integral; Nucleotide Metabolism - purine; EC 3.6.1.5; Extracellular matrix; Nucleotide Metabolism - pyrimidine; Membrane protein, multi-pass; Hydrolase

Product Notes

The ENTPD1 entpd1 (Catalog #AAA2563249) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The ENTPD1 Polyclonal Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's ENTPD1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunohistochemistry (IHC), ELISA (EIA). IHC: 1:50-1:100 ELISA: 1:5000-1:10000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the ENTPD1 entpd1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "ENTPD1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
