Preparation and Storage
Shipped at 2-8 degree C, Store it under sterile conditions at -20 degree C to -80 degree C upon receiving. Stability: Store at -20 degree C for one year. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. The lyophilized antibody is stable at room temperature for at least one month and for greater than a year when kept at -20 degree C. When reconstituted in sterile pH 7.4 0.01M PBS or diluent of antibody the antibody is stable for at least two weeks at 2-8 degree C.

UHRF1 encodes a member of a subfamily of RING-finger type E3 ubiquitin ligases. The protein binds to specific DNA sequences, and recruits a histone deacetylase to regulate gene expression. Its expression peaks at late G1 phase and continues during G2 and M phases of the cell cycle. It plays a major role in the G1/S transition by regulating topoisomerase II alpha and retinoblastoma gene expression, and functions in the p53-dependent DNA damage checkpoint. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. The protein has a calculated molecular mass of about 90 kD. ICBP90 contains an N-terminal ubiquitin-like domain partially overlapped by a leucine zipper domain, followed by a central zinc finger of the PHD finger type and a C-terminal zinc finger of the ring finger type.
