Related Product Information for anti-Clec7a antibody
Dectin-1also known as beta-glucan receptor is a small type II transmembrane receptor containing lectin-like carbohydrate recognition domain. Dectin-1 plays a role in beta-glucan dependant, nonopsonic recognition of zymosan by primary macropahge. Dectin-1 is expressed on macrophages and neutrophils and on some dendritic cells subpopulation.

Uniprot Description

dectin-1: Lectin that functions as pattern receptor specific for beta-1,3-linked and beta-1,6-linked glucans, such as cell wall constituents from pathogenic bacteria and fungi. Necessary for the TLR2-mediated inflammatory response and for TLR2-mediated activation of NF-kappa-B. Enhances cytokine production in macrophages and dendritic cells. Mediates production of reactive oxygen species in the cell. Mediates phagocytosis of C.albicans conidia. Binds T-cells in a way that does not involve their surface glycans and plays a role in T-cell activation. Stimulates T-cell proliferation. Up-regulated during differentiation from monocytes into dendritic cells. Isoform 5 interacts with RANBP9. 8 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Product Notes

The Clec7a clec7a (Catalog #AAA621017) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Dectin-1 (C-type lectin domain family 7 member A, Dendritic cell-associated C-type lectin 1, DC-associated C-type lectin 1, Beta-glucan receptor, C-type lectin superfamily member 12, CLEC7A, BGR, CLECSF12, DECTIN1, UNQ539/PRO1082) reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Dectin-1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB). Suitable for use in Western Blot. Dilution: Western Blot: 0.5-4ug/ml. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the Clec7a clec7a for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Dectin-1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
