Catalyzes the NADP-dependent reduction of 2,4-dienoyl-CoA to yield trans-3- enoyl-CoA. Belongs to the short-chain dehydrogenases/reductases (SDR) family. 2,4-dienoyl-CoA reductase subfamily.
