Target Description: This gene encodes a member of the WD repeat protein family. WD repeats are minimally conserved regions of approximately 40 amino acids typically bracketed by Gly-His and Trp-Asp (GH-WD), which may facilitate formation of heterotrimeric or multi-protein complexes. Members of this family are involved in a variety of cellular processes, including cell cycle progression, signal transduction, apoptosis, and gene regulation. This gene appears to represent an intronless retrocopy of a related multi-exon gene located on chromosome 9. However, the CDS of this intronless gene remains intact, it is conserved in other mammalian species, it is known to be transcribed, and it is therefore thought to encode a functional protein.

Product Notes

The DCAF12L2 dcaf12l2 (Catalog #AAA3217776) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The DCAF12L2 Antibody - N-terminal region reacts with Dog, Human, Pig, Rabbit and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's DCAF12L2 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the DCAF12L2 dcaf12l2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The amino acid sequence is listed below: Synthetic peptide located within the following region: KAPAVEAGAG SSSSQGLAAA DGEGPLLPKK QKRPATRRRL VHYLKGREVG. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "DCAF12L2, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
