Rabbit CXCR7 Polyclonal Antibody | anti-CXCR7 antibody
CXCR7 Antibody
Phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.4, 150mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol.
IF/ICC: 1:100-1:500
Immunofluorescence (IF)
(MBS9606312 staining HepG2 by IF/ICC. The sample were fixed with PFA and permeabilized in 0.1% Triton X-100, then blocked in 10% serum for 45 minutes at 25 degree C. The primary antibody was diluted at 1/200 and incubated with the sample for 1 hour at 37 degree C. An Alexa Fluor 594 conjugated goat anti-rabbit IgG (H+L) Ab, diluted at 1/600, was used as the secondary antibody.)
Western Blot (WB)
(Western blot analysis of extracts from Mouse brain lysate, using CXCR7 antibody.)
Western Blot (WB)
(Western blot analysis of extracts from mouse lung, using CXCR7 Antibody. Lane 1 was treated with the antigen-specific peptide.)
Subunit Structure: Homodimer. Can form heterodimers with CXCR4; heterodimerization may regulate CXCR4 signaling activity. Interacts with ARRB1 and ARRB2.
Post-translational Modifications: The Ser/Thr residues in the C-terminal cytoplasmic tail may be phosphorylated. Ubiquitinated at the Lys residues in its C-terminal cytoplasmic tail and is essential for correct trafficking from and to the cell membrane. Deubiquitinated by CXCL12-stimulation in a reversible manner.
Similarity: The C-terminal cytoplasmic tail, plays a key role in: correct trafficking to the cell membrane, recruitment of beta-arrestin, ubiquitination, and in chemokine scavenging and signaling functions. The Ser/Thr residues and the Lys residues in the C-terminal cytoplasmic tail are essential for beta-arrestin recruitment and ubiquitination respectively. Belongs to the G-protein coupled receptor 1 family. Atypical chemokine receptor subfamily.
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
Predicted: 42 kDa
NCBI Description
This gene encodes a member of the G-protein coupled receptor family. Although this protein was earlier thought to be a receptor for vasoactive intestinal peptide (VIP), it is now considered to be an orphan receptor, in that its endogenous ligand has not been identified. The protein is also a coreceptor for human immunodeficiency viruses (HIV). Translocations involving this gene and HMGA2 on chromosome 12 have been observed in lipomas. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
Uniprot Description
Atypical chemokine receptor that controls chemokine levels and localization via high-affinity chemokine binding that is uncoupled from classic ligand-driven signal transduction cascades, resulting instead in chemokine sequestration, degradation, or transcytosis. Also known as interceptor (internalizing receptor) or chemokine-scavenging receptor or chemokine decoy receptor. Acts as a receptor for chemokines CXCL11 and CXCL12/SDF1. Chemokine binding does not activate G-protein-mediated signal transduction but instead induces beta-arrestin recruitment, leading to ligand internalization and activation of MAPK signaling pathway. Required for regulation of CXCR4 protein levels in migrating interneurons, thereby adapting their chemokine responsiveness. In glioma cells, transduces signals via MEK/ERK pathway, mediating resistance to apoptosis. Promotes cell growth and survival. Not involved in cell migration, adhesion or proliferation of normal hematopoietic progenitors but activated by CXCL11 in malignant hemapoietic cells, leading to phosphorylation of ERK1/2 (MAPK3/MAPK1) and enhanced cell adhesion and migration. Plays a regulatory role in CXCR4-mediated activation of cell surface integrins by CXCL12. Required for heart valve development. Acts as coreceptor with CXCR4 for a restricted number of HIV isolates.

Product Notes
The CXCR7 ackr3 (Catalog #AAA9606312) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The CXCR7 Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's CXCR7 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunofluorescence (IF), Immunocytochemistry (ICC), ELISA (EIA). WB: 1:500-1:1000 IF/ICC: 1:100-1:500. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CXCR7 ackr3 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CXCR7, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
