anti-Rat CXCL5 Polyclonal Antibody | anti-CXCL5 antibody
Anti-CXCL5 Antibody
Western Blot Concentration: 0.1-0.5ug/ml
Background: C-X-C motif chemokine 5 or ENA-78 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the CXCL5 gene. The protein encoded by this gene, CXCL5 is a small cytokine belonging to the CXC chemokine family. It is produced following stimulation of cells with the inflammatory cytokines interleukin-1 or tumor necrosis factor-alpha. Expression of CXCL5 has also been observed ineosinophils, and can be inhibited with the type II interferon IFN-gamma. This chemokine stimulates the chemotaxis of neutrophils possessing angiogenic properties. It elicits these effects by interacting with the cell surface chemokine receptor CXCR2. The gene for CXCL5 is encoded on four exons and is located on human chromosome 4 amongst several other CXC chemokine genes. CXCL5 has been implicated in connective tissue remodelling. Also, CXCL5 has been described to regulate neutrophil homeostasis.

Product Notes
The CXCL5 cxcl5 (Catalog #AAA177726) is an Antibody and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-CXCL5 Antibody reacts with Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's CXCL5 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), ELISA (EIA). ELISA Concentration: 0.1-0.5ug/ml Western Blot Concentration: 0.1-0.5ug/ml. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CXCL5 cxcl5 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CXCL5, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
