Preparation and Storage
Prior to reconstitution store at 4 degree C. After reconstitution store at -20 degree C. Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
Shelf Life: 12 months from date of reconstitution.
Related Product Information for anti-CXCL13 antibody
Rabbit anti Human CXCL13 antibody recognizes human BCA-1 (B cell attractant chemokine), a 10.1kDa CXC cytokine designated CXCL13, which acts as a potent chemoattractant for B lymphocytes, and is expressed at high levels in the liver and to a lesser extent by lymph nodes, spleen, stomach, appendix and salivary glands. BCA-1 functions as a ligand for Burkitt's lymphoma receptor 1 (BLR-1), a chemokine receptor designated CXCR5, expressed by all mature B lymphocytes.

NCBI Description

B lymphocyte chemoattractant, independently cloned and named Angie, is an antimicrobial peptide and CXC chemokine strongly expressed in the follicles of the spleen, lymph nodes, and Peyer's patches. It preferentially promotes the migration of B lymphocytes (compared to T cells and macrophages), apparently by stimulating calcium influx into, and chemotaxis of, cells expressing Burkitt's lymphoma receptor 1 (BLR-1). It may therefore function in the homing of B lymphocytes to follicles. [provided by RefSeq, Oct 2014]

Uniprot Description

CXCL13: Chemotactic for B-lymphocytes but not for T-lymphocytes, monocytes and neutrophils. Does not induce calcium release in B- lymphocytes. Binds to BLR1/CXCR5. Belongs to the intercrine alpha (chemokine CxC) family.

Product Notes

The CXCL13 cxcl13 (Catalog #AAA221705) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's CXCL13 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB). ELISA: This purified human CXCL13 antibody may be used in an indirect ELISA or as the capture reagent in a sandwich ELISA with our biotinylated human CXCL13 antibody as the detection reagent and recombinant human CXCL13 as the standard. ELISA: Maximum Dilution: 0.5ug/ml Western Blotting: Minimum Dilution: 0.1; Maximum Dilution: 0.2ug/ml. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CXCL13 cxcl13 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CXCL13, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
