Goat CTLA + CTLB Polyclonal Antibody | anti-CLTA antibody
Goat anti-CTLA + CTLB Antibody
Western Blot: Approx.35kDa and 22-23kDa bands observed in Human Brain (Frontal Cortex) lysates (calculated MW of 23.2kDa according to NP_001825.1). The observed molecular weight of ~35kDa corresponds to earlier findings in literature with different antibodies (Okamoto et al, Am J Physiol Cell Physiol.2000 Sep;279(3): C833-51.; PMID: 10942733). Recommended concentration: 0.1-0.3ug/ml.
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
Clathrin is a large, soluble protein composed of heavy and light chains. It functions as the main structural component of the lattice-type cytoplasmic face of coated pits and vesicles which entrap specific macromolecules during receptor-mediated endocytosis. This gene encodes one of two clathrin light chain proteins which are believed to function as regulatory elements. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. Related pseudogenes have been identified on chromosomes 8 and 12. [provided by RefSeq, May 2010]
Uniprot Description

The CLTA clta (Catalog #AAA421680) is an Antibody produced from Goat and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Goat anti-CTLA + CTLB Antibody reacts with Tested: Human; Expected from sequence similarity: Human, Mouse, Rat, Dog, Cow and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's CTLA + CTLB can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Peptide ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB). Peptide ELISA: Antibody detection limit dilution 1: 32000. Western Blot: Approx.35kDa and 22-23kDa bands observed in Human Brain (Frontal Cortex) lysates (calculated MW of 23.2kDa according to NP_001825.1). Recommended concentration: 0.1-0.3ug/ml. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CLTA clta for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The amino acid sequence is listed below: CDFNPKSSKQ AKD. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CTLA + CTLB, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
