Related Product Information for anti-CCRN4L antibody
Function: Circadian deadenylase which plays an important role in post-transcriptional regulation of metabolic genes under circadian control. Degrades poly(A) tails of specific target mRNAs leading to their degradation and suppression of translation. Exerts a rhythmic post-transcriptional control of genes necessary for metabolic functions including nutrient absorption, glucose/insulin sensitivity, lipid metabolism, adipogenesis, inflammation and osteogenesis. Plays an important role in favoring adipogenesis over osteoblastogenesis and acts as a key regulator of the adipogenesis/osteogenesis balance. Promotes adipogenesis by activating PPARG transcriptional activity in a deadenylase-independent manner by facilitating its nuclear translocation. Regulates circadian expression of NOS2 in the liver and negatively regulates the circadian expression of IGF1 in the bone. Critical for proper development of early embryos (By similarity).
Subunit Structure: Interacts with PPARG.
Similarity: Belongs to the CCR4/nocturin family.

NCBI Description

The protein encoded by this gene is highly similar to Nocturnin, a gene identified as a circadian clock regulated gene in Xenopus laevis. This protein and Nocturnin protein share similarity with the C-terminal domain of a yeast transcription factor, carbon catabolite repression 4 (CCR4). The mRNA abundance of a similar gene in mouse has been shown to exhibit circadian rhythmicity, which suggests a role for this protein in clock function or as a circadian clock effector. Product Notes

The CCRN4L noct (Catalog #AAA9609145) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The CCRN4L Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's CCRN4L can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), ELISA (EIA). WB: 1:1000-3000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CCRN4L noct for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CCRN4L, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
