NCBI Description

This gene is thought to function in extracellular matrix remodeling and migration. It is predominantly expressed in the ovary, but down regulated in ovarian cancer cell lines and primary carcinomas, suggesting its role as a tumour suppressor. Mutations in this gene have been associated with Hennekam lymphangiectasia-lymphedema syndrome, a generalized lymphatic dysplasia in humans. [provided by RefSeq, Mar 2010]

Uniprot Description

Required for lymphangioblast budding and angiogenic sprouting from venous endothelium during embryogenesis.

Product Notes

The CCBE1 ccbe1 (Catalog #AAA9602951) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The CCBE1 Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's CCBE1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), ELISA (EIA). WB: 1:1000-3000 IHC: 1:200 IF/ICC 1:100-1:500 ELISA(peptide): 1:20000-1:40000 *The optimal dilutions should be determined by the end user. IMPORTANT: For western blot, incubate membrane with diluted primary Ab in 5% w/v milk, 1X TBS, 0.1% Tween®20 at 4°C with gentle shaking, overnight. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CCBE1 ccbe1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CCBE1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
