Rabbit C1orf77 Polyclonal Antibody | anti-C1orf77 antibody
C1orf77 Antibody
Predicted: Pig, Bovine, Horse, Sheep, Rabbit
Predicted: Pig, Bovine, Horse, Sheep, Rabbit
Post Translational Modifications: Asymmetrically methylated by PRMT1 (PubMed:25284789). Symmetrically methylated by PRMT5 (By similarity).
Subunit Structure: Interacts with PRMT1 and PRMT5 (PubMed:25284789). Interacts with the 5FMC complex; the interaction is methylation-dependent. Interacts with FYTTD1, SET and PRC1 complex members CBX4, RNF2 and PHC2; the interactions are methylation-independent. Interacts with ZNF148 (By similarity). Component of the transcription/export (TREX) complex at least composed of ALYREF/THOC4, DDX39B, SARNP/CIP29, CHTOP and the THO subcomplex; TREX seems to have dynamic structure involving ATP-dependent remodeling; in the complex interacts (methylated) with ALYREF/THOC4 and with DDX39B in a methylation-independent manner. Interacts (methylated) with NXF1; the interaction is mutually exclusive with the NXF1:THOC5 interaction (PubMed:23299939, PubMed:23826332). Interacts with WDR77 and ERH (PubMed:25284789).
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
Predicted: 27 kDa
NCBI Description
This gene encodes a small nuclear protein that is characterized by an arginine and glycine rich region. This protein may have an important role in the regulation of fetal globin gene expression and in the activation of estrogen-responsive genes. A recent study reported that this protein binds 5-hydroxymethylcytosine (5hmC) and associates with an arginine methyltransferase complex (methylosome), which promotes methylation of arginine 3 of histone H4 (H4R3) and activation of genes involved in glioblastomagenesis. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been described for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Nov 2015]
Uniprot Description
CHTOP: Plays an important role in the ligand-dependent activation of estrogen receptor target genes. May play a role in the silencing of fetal globin genes. 3 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Product Notes
The C1orf77 chtop (Catalog #AAA9611619) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The C1orf77 Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse Predicted: Pig, Bovine, Horse, Sheep, Rabbit and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's C1orf77 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB). WB: 1:500-1:2000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the C1orf77 chtop for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "C1orf77, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
