Related Product Information for anti-c-Abl antibody
Bcr-Abl hybrid gene product is a 210kD protein known to be assembled in the K562 (human chronic myelogenous leukemia) cell line. The c-Abl proto-oncogene encodes a nonreceptor type protein tyrosine kinase that is ubiquitously expressed and highly conserved in metazoan evolution. c-Abl protein is distributed in both the nucleus and the cytoplasm of cells.

Product Notes

The c-Abl abl1 (Catalog #AAA618210) is an Antibody produced from Host: Rabbit Source: Human and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti - c-Abl (ABL1, v-abl, Abelson Murine Leukemia Viral Oncogene Homolog 1, ABL, c-ABL, JTK7, p150, Proto-Oncogene Tyrosine-Protein Kanase ABL1, v-abl) reacts with Drosophila, Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's c-Abl can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA, Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation, Immunofluorescence. Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation and Immunofluoroescence. Other applications not tested. Dilution: Western Blot: 1:1000, incubate membrane with diluted antibody in 5% BSA, 1X TBS, 0.1% Tween-20 at 4°C with gentle shaking, overnight. Recognizes bands at 135kD (c-Abl) (210kD (Bcr-Abl)). Immunoprecipitation: 1:100 Immunofluorescence: 1:25 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the c-Abl abl1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "c-Abl, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
