Related Product Information for anti-BTBD1 antibody
BTBD1 binds topoisomerase I. The N-terminus contains a proline-rich region and a BTB/POZ domain (broad-complex, Tramtrack and bric a brac/Pox virus and Zinc finger), both of which are typically involved in protein-protein interactions. Subcellularly, the protein localizes to cytoplasmic bodies.

NCBI Description

The C-terminus of the protein encoded by this gene binds topoisomerase I. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

Protein type: Unknown function

Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 15q24

Cellular Component: protein complex

Product Notes

The BTBD1 btbd1 (Catalog #AAA9203351) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The immunogen sequence is 295-322. The BTBD1 Antibody (Center) reacts with Human, mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's BTBD1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), ELISA (EIA), Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS). WB~~1:1000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the BTBD1 btbd1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "BTBD1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
