Rabbit anti-Human BRIP1 Polyclonal Antibody | anti-BRIP1 antibody
BRIP1 Antibody - N-terminal region
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the RecQ DEAH helicase family and interacts with the BRCT repeats of breast cancer, type 1 (BRCA1). The bound complex is important in the normal double-strand break repair function of breast cancer, type 1 (BRCA1). This gene may be a target of germline cancer-inducing mutations. Uniprot Description
BRIP1: a DNA-dependent ATPase and DNA helicase required for the maintenance of chromosomal stability. Involved in the repair of DNA double-strand breaks by homologous recombination in a manner that depends on its association with BRCA1. Binds directly to the BRCT domains of BRCA1. Defects in BRIP1 cause of susceptibility to breast cancer and Fanconi anemia. Acts late in the Fanconi anemia pathway, after FANCD2 ubiquitination. Belongs to the DEAD box helicase family, DEAH subfamily. Two alternatively spliced human isoforms have been described.

Product Notes
The BRIP1 brip1 (Catalog #AAA3221600) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The BRIP1 Antibody - N-terminal region reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's BRIP1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the BRIP1 brip1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The amino acid sequence is listed below: Synthetic peptide located within the following region: FTNNDMNQGT SRHFNYPSTP PSERNGTSST CQDSPEKTTL AAKLSAKKQA. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "BRIP1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
