Related Product Information for anti-AVPR1B antibody
The protein encoded by this gene acts as receptor for arginine vasopressin. This receptor belongs to the subfamily of G-protein coupled receptors which includes AVPR1A, V2R and OXT receptors. Its activity is mediated by G proteins which stimulate a phosphatidylinositol-calcium second messenger system. The receptor is primarily located in the anterior pituitary, where it stimulates ACTH release. It is expressed at high levels in ACTH-secreting pituitary adenomas as well as in bronchial carcinoids responsible for the ectopic ACTH syndrome. A spliced antisense transcript of this gene has been reported but its function is not known.

Product Notes

The AVPR1B avpr1b (Catalog #AAA6276965) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AVPR1B, CT (AVPR1B, AVPR3, VPR3, Vasopressin V1b receptor, AVPR V1b, AVPR V3, Antidiuretic hormone receptor 1b, Vasopressin V3 receptor) (APC) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's AVPR1B can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), FLISA. Applications are based on unconjugated antibody. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the AVPR1B avpr1b for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "AVPR1B, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
