Related Product Information for anti-ATG7 antibody
Description: Rabbit IgG polyclonal antibody for ATG7 detection. Tested with WB, IHC-P, FCM in Human; Mouse; Rat.

Background: Autophagy related 7 is a protein in humans encoded by ATG7 gene. It is mapped to 3p25.3. This gene encodes an E1-like activating enzyme that is essential for autophagy and cytoplasmic to vacuole transport. The encoded protein is also thought to modulate p53-dependent cell cycle pathways during prolonged metabolic stress. It has been associated with multiple functions, including axon membrane trafficking, axonal homeostasis, mitophagy, adipose differentiation, and hematopoietic stem cell maintenance. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.

Product Notes

The ATG7 atg7 (Catalog #AAA1752925) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-ATG7 Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's ATG7 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC) Paraffin, Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS). WB: 0.1-0.25ug/ml (Human, Rat) IHC-P (Embedded Section): 0.5-1ug/ml (Human, Mouse) FC/FACS: 1-3ug/1x106 cells (Human, Mouse) Tested Species: In-house tested species with positive results. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the ATG7 atg7 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "ATG7, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
