NCBI Description

ARHGAPs, such as ARHGAP25, encode negative regulators of Rho GTPases (see ARHA; MIM 165390), which are implicated in actin remodeling, cell polarity, and cell migration (Katoh and Katoh, 2004 [PubMed 15254788]).[supplied by OMIM, Mar 2008]

Uniprot Description

ARHGAP25: GTPase activator for the Rho-type GTPases by converting them to an inactive GDP-bound state. 4 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Protein type: GAPs, Rac/Rho; GAPs

Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 2p13.3

Cellular Component: cytosol

Molecular Function: GTPase activator activity

Biological Process: regulation of small GTPase mediated signal transduction; small GTPase mediated signal transduction; positive regulation of GTPase activity

Product Notes

The ARHGAP25 arhgap25 (Catalog #AAA6274895) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The ARHGAP25, ID (ARHGAP25, KIAA0053, Rho GTPase-activating protein 25, Rho-type GTPase-activating protein 25) (PE) reacts with Human, Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's ARHGAP25 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunohistochemistry (IHC), FLISA, Western Blot (WB). IHC: 1:50-100 FLISA: 1:1,000 WB: 1:100-500 Applications are based on unconjugated antibody. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the ARHGAP25 arhgap25 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "ARHGAP25, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
