Related Product Information for anti-ANAPC10 antibody
ANAPC10 is a core subunit of the anaphase-promoting complex (APC), or cyclosome, a ubiquitin protein ligase that is essential for progression through the cell cycle. APC initiates sister chromatid separation by ubiquitinating the anaphase inhibitor securin (PTTG1; MIM 604147) and triggers exit from mitosis by ubiquitinating cyclin B (CCNB1; MIM 123836), the activating subunit of cyclin-dependent kinase-1 (CDK1; MIM 116940) (summary by Wendt et al., 2001

NCBI Description

Uniprot Description

APC10: Component of the anaphase promoting complex/cyclosome (APC/C), a cell cycle-regulated E3 ubiquitin ligase that controls progression through mitosis and the G1 phase of the cell cycle. The APC/C complex acts by mediating ubiquitination and subsequent degradation of target proteins: it mainly mediates the formation of 'Lys-11'-linked polyubiquitin chains and, to a lower extent, the formation of 'Lys-48'- and 'Lys-63'-linked polyubiquitin chains. Belongs to the APC10 family.

Protein type: Ubiquitin conjugating system

Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 4q31

Cellular Component: nucleoplasm; anaphase-promoting complex; cytosol

Biological Process: positive regulation of ubiquitin-protein ligase activity during mitotic cell cycle; mitosis; negative regulation of ubiquitin-protein ligase activity during mitotic cell cycle; regulation of ubiquitin-protein ligase activity during mitotic cell cycle; anaphase-promoting complex-dependent proteasomal ubiquitin-dependent protein catabolic process; cell division; mitotic cell cycle spindle assembly checkpoint; mitotic cell cycle

Product Notes

The ANAPC10 anapc10 (Catalog #AAA3009125) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The ANAPC10 Polyclonal Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's ANAPC10 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC). WB: 1:500-1:2000 IHC: 1:50-1:200. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the ANAPC10 anapc10 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "ANAPC10, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
