Function: Probably involved in transcriptional regulation. In vitro or as fusion protein with KMT2A/MLL1 has transactivation activity. Binds to cruciform DNA.
Subunit Structure: Self-associates. Interacts with FSTL3 isoform 2; the interaction enhances MLLT10 in vitro transcriptional activity and self-association. Interacts with YEATS4. Interacts with SS18. Interacts with DOT1L; this interaction also occurs with the KMT2A/MLL1 fusion protein.

NCBI Description

This gene encodes a transcription factor and has been identified as a partner gene involved in several chromosomal rearrangements resulting in various leukemias. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Sep 2010]

Uniprot Description

Probably involved in transcriptional regulation. In vitro or as fusion protein with KMT2A/MLL1 has transactivation activity. Binds to cruciform DNA. In cells, binding to unmodified histone H3 regulates DOT1L functions including histone H3 'Lys-79' dimethylation (H3K79me2) and gene activation (PubMed:26439302).

Product Notes

The AF10 mllt10 (Catalog #AAA9604678) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AF10 Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's AF10 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemisty (IHC), Immunofluorescence (IF), Immunocytochemistry (ICC), ELISA (EIA). WB: 1:500-1:1000 IHC: 1:50-1:200 IF/ICC: 1:100-1:500. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the AF10 mllt10 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "AF10, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
