Serine/threonine protein kinase which forms a receptor complex on ligand binding. The receptor complex consisting of 2 type II and 2 type I transmembrane serine/threonine kinases. Type II receptors phosphorylate and activate type I receptors which autophosphorylate, then bind and activate SMAD transcriptional regulators, SMAD2 and SMAD3. Receptor for activin AB, activin B and NODAL. Plays a role in cell differentiation, growth arrest and apoptosis.

Product Notes

The Acvr1c acvr1c (Catalog #AAA6271412) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Acvr1c, CT (Acvr1c, Alk7, Activin receptor type-1C, Activin receptor type IC, Activin receptor-like kinase 7) (FITC) reacts with Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Acvr1c can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), FLISA. Applications are based on unconjugated antibody. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the Acvr1c acvr1c for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Acvr1c, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
