(Recombinant PLK3 (57-340) protein 10% SDS-PAGE gel with Coomassie blue staining MW: 33.7 kDa Purity: >85%)
Testing Data
(HTRF assay for PLK3 (57-340) activity 1 uM STK S3 substrate was incubated with different concentrations of PLK3 (57-340) protein in a 10 ul reaction system containing 1×Enzymatic Buffer, 5 mM MgCl2, 1 mM DTT, 2 mg/ml CaSein and 100 uM ATP for 1 hour. Then 10 ul detection reagents containing STK antibody (1:2) and SA-XL665 (1:100) diluted with 1× Detection Buffer were added and incubated with the reactions for 30 min. All the operations and reactions were performed at room temperature. HTRF assay was used for detection.)

NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
Cytokine-inducible kinase is a putative serine/threonine kinase. CNK contains both a catalytic domain and a putative regulatory domain. It may play a role in regulation of cell cycle progression and tumorigenesis. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
Uniprot Description
PLK3: a kinase of the PLK family. Phosphorylated and activated following DNA damage or mitotic spindle disruption. Interacts with Chk2 and the interaction is enhanced upon DNA damage. Apparent substrates include Chk2 and p53. Plays an important role in regulating microtubule dynamics and centrosomal function. Deregulated expression of Plk3 results in cell cycle arrest and apoptosis.

Product Notes
The PLK3 plk3 (Catalog #AAA389416) is a Recombinant Protein produced from Baculovirus and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "PLK3, Recombinant Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
