Human disulfide-isomerase A4 ELISA Kit | PDIA4 elisa kit
Human Protein disulfide-isomerase A4 ELISA Kit
Principle of the Assay: The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Protein bassoon. Standards or samples are then added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells with a biotin-conjugated polyclonal antibody preparation specific for Protein bassoon and Avidin conjugated to Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to each microplate well and incubated. Then a TMB substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Protein bassoon, biotin-conjugated antibody and enzyme-conjugated Avidin will exhibit a change in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of a sulphuric acid solution and the color change is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm +/- 2 nm. The concentration of Protein bassoon in the samples is then determined by comparing the O.D. of the samples to the standard curve.
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene encodes a member of the disulfide isomerase (PDI) family of endoplasmic reticulum (ER) proteins that catalyze protein folding and thiol-disulfide interchange reactions. The encoded protein has an N-terminal ER-signal sequence, three catalytically active thioredoxin (TRX) domains, two TRX-like domains and a C-terminal ER-retention sequence. This protein, when bound to cyclophilin B, enhances the rate of immunoglobulin G intermolecular disulfide bonding and antibody assembly. [provided by RefSeq, Dec 2016]

Product Notes
The Human PDIA4 pdia4 (Catalog #AAA9426481) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA9426481 ELISA Kit recognizes Human PDIA4. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "disulfide-isomerase A4, ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
