Ordering
For Research Use Only!
Reactivity
Human
Specificity
No significant cross-reactivity or interference between Human NDUFA10 and analogues was observed.
Samples
Serum, Plasma, Tissue Homogenate, Feces and Urine
Assay Type
Sandwich
Detection Range
0.25ng/ml-8ng/ml.
Sensitivity
0.1ng/ml.
Intended Uses
This Quantitative Sandwich ELISA kit is only for in vitro research use only, not for drug, household, therapeutic applications! It is intended to be determinated NDUFA10 concentrations in Human serum, plasma and other body fluids. Using Purified Human NDUFA10 antibody to coat Microelisa Stripplate wells to make solid-phase antibody, then add NDUFA10 and NDUFA10 antibody which has been labeled with HRP to wells, then the reactants become antibody-antigen-antibody-enzyme complex, after washing completely, add TMB substrate solution, TMB substrate becomes blue color under HRP enzyme-catalyzed, reaction is terminated by the addition of a sulphuric acid solution and the color change is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm. The concentration of NDUFA10 in the samples is then determined by comparing the O.D. of the samples to the standard curve.
Intra-assay Precision
Intra-assay CV (%) is less than 15%.
Inter-assay Precision
Inter-assay CV (%) is less than 15%. [CV(%) = SD/mean ×100]
Preparation and Storage
Store all reagents at 2-8 degree C

NCBI Description

The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the complex I 42kDA subunit family. Mammalian complex I is the first enzyme complex in the electron transport chain of mitochondria. It is composed of 45 different subunits. This protein is a component of the hydrophobic protein fraction and has NADH dehydrogenase activity and oxidoreductase activity. It transfers electrons from NADH to the respiratory chain. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

Uniprot Description

NDUFA10: Accessory subunit of the mitochondrial membrane respiratory chain NADH dehydrogenase (Complex I), that is believed not to be involved in catalysis. Complex I functions in the transfer of electrons from NADH to the respiratory chain. The immediate electron acceptor for the enzyme is believed to be ubiquinone. Belongs to the complex I NDUFA10 subunit family.

Protein type: Mitochondrial; Oxidoreductase; EC 1.6.5.3; Energy Metabolism - oxidative phosphorylation; EC 1.6.99.3

Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 2q37.3

Cellular Component: mitochondrial matrix; mitochondrial inner membrane; mitochondrial respiratory chain complex I

Molecular Function: nucleoside kinase activity; NADH dehydrogenase (ubiquinone) activity; ATP binding

Biological Process: response to drug; cellular metabolic process; mitochondrial electron transport, NADH to ubiquinone; nucleotide biosynthetic process

Disease: Leigh Syndrome

Product Notes

The Human NDUFA10 ndufa10 (Catalog #AAA9340017) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA9340017 ELISA Kit recognizes Human NDUFA10. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "NADH dehydrogenase (ubiquinone) 1 alpha subcomplex, 10, 42kDa, ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
