Related Product Information for ABA/ABL lectin
Agaricus bisporus agglutinin (ABA) is an affinity-purified tetramer composed of two to four isolectins. ABA has two distinct carbohydrate binding sites, one for galactose-beta-1,3-N-acetylgalactosamine and another for galactose-beta-1,3-N-acetylglucosamine. Agaricus bisporus has an anti-proliferative effect on cancerous cells. ABA can be internalized by clathrin-coated vesicles after binding to surface glycoproteins, thus making ABA an inhibitor of its nuclear import of signal-dependent proteins.

Product Notes

The ABA/ABL (Catalog #AAA6506778) is a Lectin produced from Mushroom and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Agaricus bisporus (ABA/ABL), Lectin" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
