Related Product Information for anti-WNT10B antibody
WNT10B. wingless-type MMTV integration site family, member 10B. The WNT family consists of structurally related secreted signaling proteins. These proteins have been implicated in oncogenesis and in several developmental processes, including regulation of cell fate and patterning during embryogenesis. WNT10B is a member of the WNT gene family. It may be involved in breast cancer, and its protein signaling is ikely a molecular switch that governs adipogenesis. This protein is 96% identical to the mouse Wnt10B protein at the amino acid level. The WNT10B gene is clustered with another family member, WNT1, in the chromosome 12q13 region.

NCBI Description

The WNT gene family consists of structurally related genes which encode secreted signaling proteins. These proteins have been implicated in oncogenesis and in several developmental processes, including regulation of cell fate and patterning during embryogenesis. This gene is a member of the WNT gene family. It may be involved in breast cancer, and its protein signaling is likely a molecular switch that governs adipogenesis. This protein is 96% identical to the mouse Wnt10b protein at the amino acid level. This gene is clustered with another family member, WNT1, in the chromosome 12q13 region. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

Uniprot Description

Member of the Wnt ligand gene family that encodes for secreted proteins, which activate the Wnt signaling cascade. Specifically activates canonical Wnt/beta-catenin signaling and thus triggers beta-catenin/LEF/TCF-mediated transcriptional programs. Involved in signaling networks controlling stemness, pluripotency and cell fate decisions. Acts in the immune system, mammary gland, adipose tissue, bone and skin.

Product Notes

The WNT10B wnt10b (Catalog #AAA850938) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The WNT10B Antibody reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's WNT10B can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunofluorescence (IF), ELISA (EIA). WB: 1:500-1:2000 IHC: 1:200-1:1000 IF: 1:200-1:1000 ELISA: 1:10000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the WNT10B wnt10b for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "WNT10B, Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
