Related Product Information for CXCL9/MIG elisa kit
Intended Uses: This ELISA kit applies to the in vitro quantitative determination of Mouse MIgamma/CXCL9 concentrations in serum, plasma and other biological fluids.

Principle of the Assay: This ELISA kit uses the Sandwich-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Mouse MIgamma/CXCL9. Standards or samples are added to the micro ELISA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Mouse MIgamma/CXCL9 and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Mouse MIgamma/CXCL9, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear blue in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color turns yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm +/- 2 nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of Mouse MIgamma/CXCL9. You can calculate the concentration of Mouse MIgamma/CXCL9 in the samples by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.

NCBI Description

This antimicrobial gene encodes a protein thought to be involved in T cell trafficking. The encoded protein binds to C-X-C motif chemokine 3 and is a chemoattractant for lymphocytes but not for neutrophils. [provided by RefSeq, Sep 2014]

Uniprot Description

CXCL9: Cytokine that affects the growth, movement, or activation state of cells that participate in immune and inflammatory response. Chemotactic for activated T-cells. Binds to CXCR3. Belongs to the intercrine alpha (chemokine CxC) family.

Protein type: Secreted; Motility/polarity/chemotaxis; Secreted, signal peptide

Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 4q21

Product Notes

The Mouse CXCL9/MIG cxcl9 (Catalog #AAA2501424) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA2501424 ELISA Kit recognizes Mouse CXCL9/MIG. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CXCL9/MIG, ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
