Related Product Information for CCL19 elisa kit
Principle of the Assay: The Mouse CCL19 ELISA (Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay) kit is an in vitro enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay for the quantitative measurement of Mouse CCL19 in Cell Culture Supernates, Serum, Plasma. This assay employs an antibody specific for Mouse CCL19 coated on a 96-well plate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and CCL19 present in a sample is bound to the wells by the immobilized antibody. The wells are washed and biotinylated anti-Mouse CCL19 antibody is added. After washing away unbound biotinylated antibody, HRP-conjugated streptavidin is pipetted to the wells. The wells are again washed, a TMB substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of CCL19 bound. The Stop Solution changes the color from blue to yellow, and the intensity of the color is measured at 450 nm.

Background: Chemokine(C-C motif) ligand 19 (CCL19) is a small cytokine belonging to the CC chemokine family that is also known as EBI1 ligand chemokine (ELC) and macrophage inflammatory protein-3-beta (MIP-3-beta). Using PCR of human-rodent hybrids, the CCL19 gene was mapped to human chromosome 9p13, and the CCL19 gene is not part of the CC chemokine gene cluster on chromosome 17. The cytokine encoded by this gene may play a role in normal lymphocyte recirculation and homing. It also plays an important role in trafficking of T cells in thymus, and in T cell and B cell migration to secondary lymphoid organs.

Uniprot Description

CCL19: May play a role not only in inflammatory and immunological responses but also in normal lymphocyte recirculation and homing. May play an important role in trafficking of T-cells in thymus, and T-cell and B-cell migration to secondary lymphoid organs. Specifically binds to chemokine receptor CCR7. Recombinant CCL19 shows potent chemotactic activity for T-cells and B-cells but not for granulocytes and monocytes. Belongs to the intercrine beta (chemokine CC) family.

Product Notes

The Mouse CCL19 ccl19 (Catalog #AAA8248422) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA8248422 ELISA Kit recognizes Mouse CCL19. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CCL19, ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
