NCBI Description

The protein encoded by this gene is the CD3-gamma polypeptide, which together with CD3-epsilon, -delta and -zeta, and the T-cell receptor alpha/beta and gamma/delta heterodimers, forms the T-cell receptor-CD3 complex. This complex plays an important role in coupling antigen recognition to several intracellular signal-transduction pathways. The genes encoding the epsilon, gamma and delta polypeptides are located in the same cluster on chromosome 11. Defects in this gene are associated with T cell immunodeficiency. Product Notes

The CD3G cd3g (Catalog #AAA238078) is a Dual Color Reagent produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's MPO/CD3 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow cytometry (FC/FACS)*. Flow Cytometry: Use 10ul of the suggested working dilution to label 106 cells or cells or 100ul whole blood. Flow Cytometry: Application Note: Membrane permeabilisation is required for this application. MyBioSource recommends the use of Leucoperm for this purpose. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD3G cd3g for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "MPO/CD3, Dual Color Reagent" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
