Biological Significance
The MCP proteins belong to the CC chemokine family, and signal through CCR2 and, with the exception of MCP-1, other CCR receptors. The MCP proteins chemoattract and activate monocytes, activated T cells, basophils, NK cells, and immature dendritic cells. The MCP family cross- reacts across species.
Bioactivity
Determined by its ability to chemoattract Balb/C mouse spleen MNCs using a concentration range of 10.0-100.0 ng/ml.
Endotoxin Levels
Endotoxin level is less than 0.1 ng per ug (1 EU/ug).
Expression System
E Coli
Preparation and Storage
Store at 4 degree C until reconstitution. Following reconstitution aliquot and freeze at -20 degree C for long term storage. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.

Product Notes

The MCP3 ccl7 (Catalog #AAA539544) is an Active Protein produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's MCP3 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, User optimized. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the MCP3 ccl7 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The amino acid sequence is listed below: Region of MCP3 protein correspond ing to amino acids QPDGPNASTC CYVKKQKIPK RNLKSYRRIT SSRCPWEAVI FKTKKGMEVC AEAHQKWVEE AIAYLDMKTP TPKP. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "MCP3, Active Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
