Dilution: Direct ELISA: 0.5-1.0ug/ml detection limit for rhWnt-9a is ~ 3ng/well.
Western Blot: 1-2ug/ml detection limit for rhWnt-9a is ~ 25ng/lane under non-reducing and reducing conditions.
Testing Data
(Detection of Wnt-9a with MAB3157. Recombinant protein and lysates prepared in reducing sample buffer at 5 x 106 cells/mL were resolved by SDS-PAGE and transferred to an Immobilon-P membrane. The blot was developed with 5 μg/mL MAB3157 with chemiluminescent detection. Lane 1: 20 ng rhWnt-9a; Lane 2: 10 μL KATO-III (human gastric carcinoma) cell lysate; Lane 3: 10 μL ME-180 (human cervical carcinoma) cell lysate; Lane 4: 10 μL T47-D (human breast cancer) cell lysate.)
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
The WNT gene family consists of structurally related genes that encode secreted signaling proteins. These proteins have been implicated in oncogenesis and in several developmental processes, including regulation of cell fate and patterning during embryogenesis. This gene is a member of the WNT gene family. It is expressed in gastric cancer cell lines. The protein encoded by this gene shows 75% amino acid identity to chicken Wnt14, which has been shown to play a central role in initiating synovial joint formation in the chick limb. This gene is clustered with another family member, WNT3A, in the chromosome 1q42 region. [provided by RefSeq]

Product Notes
The WNT9A wnt9a (Catalog #AAA601217) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Wnt9a (Wingless-type MMTV (mouse mammary tumor virus) integration site family member 9a) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Wnt9a can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB). Suitable for use in Direct ELISA and Western Blot. Dilution: Direct ELISA: 0.5-1.0ug/ml detection limit for rhWnt-9a is ~ 3ng/well. Western Blot: 1-2ug/ml detection limit for rhWnt-9a is ~ 25ng/lane under non-reducing and reducing conditions. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the WNT9A wnt9a for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Wnt9a, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
