Related Product Information for anti-WNT3A antibody
Wingless-type MMTV integration site family, member 3A (Wnt3a) is a member of the Wnt family. The Wnt gene family is representative of a growing class of multifunctioanl factors that play a role in both tumorigenesis and patterning events required for normal differentiation and development. Wnt3a is a ligand for members of the frizzled family of seven transmembrane receptors.

NCBI Description

The WNT gene family consists of structurally related genes which encode secreted signaling proteins. These proteins have been implicated in oncogenesis and in several developmental processes, including regulation of cell fate and patterning during embryogenesis. This gene is a member of the WNT gene family. It encodes a protein which shows 96% amino acid identity to mouse Wnt3A protein, and 84% to human WNT3 protein, another WNT gene product. This gene is clustered with WNT14 gene, another family member, in chromosome 1q42 region. [provided by RefSeq]

Uniprot Description

WNT3A: Ligand for members of the frizzled family of seven transmembrane receptors. Wnt-3 and Wnt-3a play distinct roles in cell-cell signaling during morphogenesis of the developing neural tube. Interacts with PORCN. Interacts with APCDD1 and WLS. Component of the Wnt-Fzd-LRP5-LRP6 signaling complex that contains a WNT protein, a FZD protein and LRP5 or LRP6. Interacts directly in the complex with LRP6. Moderately expressed in placenta and at low levels in adult lung, spleen, and prostate. Belongs to the Wnt family.

Product Notes

The WNT3A wnt3a (Catalog #AAA607685) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Wnt3a (Wingless-type MMTV (Mouse Mammary Tumor Virus) Integration Site Family Member) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Wnt3a can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC). Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Dilution: Western Blot: 1:1000-1:2000 Immunohistochemistry: 1:50-1:100. HEIR with citrate buffer. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the WNT3A wnt3a for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Wnt3a, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
