Preparation and Storage
May be stored at 4 degree C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and add glycerol (40-50%). Freeze at -20 degree C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 degree C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Related Product Information for anti-ube2n antibody
The Ubc13 protein was first identified for its unique role in ubiquitin chain assembly at the Lys63 residue of ubiquitin, rather than the conventional Lys48 site. Ubc13, which acts as an E2 ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme, must first form a complex with its E2 partner, Mms2, for enzymatic activity. Mms2 belongs to a family of UEV (ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme variant) proteins; Ubc13/UEV complexes are involved in error-free DNA postreplication repair (PRR) in yeast and in the NFkB signaling pathway in humans

Product Notes

The ube2n (Catalog #AAA607137) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Ubiquitin Conjugating Enzyme E2N (UBE2N, Ubc13, UbcH-ben) reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Ubiquitin Conjugating Enzyme E2N can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB), Immunofluorescence (IF). Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, Western Blot and ELISA. Dilution: Immunofluorescence: 1-5ug/ml Western Blot: 1-3ug/ml ELISA: 0.1-1ug/ml. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the ube2n for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Ubiquitin Conjugating Enzyme E2N, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
