Application Notes
Suitable for use in ELISA, Flow Cytometry, Immunocytochemistry, Immunofluorescence (IC) and Western Blot.
Dilution: Immunofluorescence (IC): 2-100ug/ml. HeLa cells were fixed with 4% paraformaldehyde and permeabilized with
0.1% Triton X-100 in PBS.
Western Blot: 0.2-2ug/ml
Flow cytometry: 0.5-2ug/ml. HeLa cells with 2% paraformaldehyde/PBS and then permeabilized in 90% methanol.

Recombinant corresponding to a partial sequence of human Transcription Elongation Regulator 1.
Preparation and Storage
May be stored at 4 degree C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degree C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.

NCBI Description

This gene encodes a nuclear protein that regulates transcriptional elongation and pre-mRNA splicing. The encoded protein interacts with the hyperphosphorylated C-terminal domain of RNA polymerase II via multiple FF domains, and with the pre-mRNA splicing factor SF1 via a WW domain. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcripts variants encoding different isoforms. [provided by RefSeq]

Necessary for TAT-dependent activation of the human immunodeficiency virus type 1 (HIV-1) promoter. 2 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.
