Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS)
Application Notes
FC: <= 0.5 ug/test

A test is defined as the amount (ug) of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 ul. Cell number should be determined empirically but can range from 10^5 to 10^8 cells/test. It is recommended to block Fcgamma?receptors with anti?mouse CD16/32 (cat. 14?0161), prior to staining to prevent non?specific binding of eBio3C8. Furthermore, it is recommended that the antibody be carefully titrated for optimal performance in the assay of interest.
Biological Significance
The H57-597 monoclonal antibody reacts with the beta chain of mouse TCR. TCR beta is expressed by thymocytes in a developmentally regulated manner and a majority of peripheral T cells. Crosslinking of the TCR complex with H57-597 induces activation and proliferation of T cells or apoptosis based on assay conditions. H57-597 is used as a phenotypic marker for TCR beta expressing T cells.

Biotin
Preparation and Storage
Store at 2-8 degree C. Do not freeze. Protect from light.

Product Notes

The TCR beta (Catalog #AAA832347) is an Antibody produced from Hamster and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's TCR beta can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS). FC: <= 0.5 ug/test A test is defined as the amount (ug) of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 ul. Cell number should be determined empirically but can range from 10^5 to 10^8 cells/test. Furthermore, it is recommended that the antibody be carefully titrated for optimal performance in the assay of interest. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the TCR beta for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "TCR beta, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
