Caution must be taken to avoid contact with skin or eyes. In such a case, rinse thoroughly at once with water. Do not ingest, inhale, or swallow. Seek medical attention immediately. Wear appropriate protective clothing such as laboratory overalls, safety glasses and gloves. It is strongly advised that this product should be handled by people who have been well trained in laboratory techniques and that it is handled with care pursuant to the principles of good laboratory practice. All chemicals are deemed potentially harmful. The vial is prone to fall over. Use caution, especially when the lid is off.
Preparation and Storage
Store at 2-8 C for up to one year. We recommend storing at –20 C for long-term storage. Avoid repeat freezing and thawing cycles.

Uniprot Description

TCERG1: Transcription factor that binds RNA polymerase II and inhibits the elongation of transcripts from target promoters. Regulates transcription elongation in a TATA box-dependent manner. Necessary for TAT-dependent activation of the human immunodeficiency virus type 1 (HIV-1) promoter. 2 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Product Notes

The TCERG1 tcerg1 (Catalog #AAA120042) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Mouse monoclonal antibody Anti-Human TCERG1 reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's TCERG1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Immunocytochemistry (ICC), Western Blot (WB), Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS). WB: 0.2-2 ug/ml FC: 0.5-2 ug/sample ICC: 2-100 ug/ml. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the TCERG1 tcerg1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "TCERG1, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
