NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
The protein encoded by this gene is a sodium-phosphate symporter that absorbs phosphate from interstitial fluid for use in cellular functions such as metabolism, signal transduction, and nucleic acid and lipid synthesis. The encoded protein is also a retroviral receptor, causing human cells to be susceptible to infection by gibbon ape leukemia virus, simian sarcoma-associated virus, feline leukemia virus subgroup B, and 10A1 murine leukemia virus.[provided by RefSeq, Mar 2011]

Product Notes
The SLC20A1 (Catalog #AAA6144396) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The SLC20A1 (Sodium-dependent Phosphate Transporter 1, Solute Carrier Family 20 Member 1, Phosphate Transporter 1, PiT-1, Gibbon Ape Leukemia Virus Receptor 1, GLVR-1, Leukemia Virus Receptor 1 Homolog, GLVR1, PIT1, DKFZp686J2397, FLJ41426) (Biotin) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's SLC20A1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB). Applications are based on unconjugated antibody. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the SLC20A1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "SLC20A1, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
