Mouse RPA14 Monoclonal Antibody | anti-RPA14 antibody
RPA14 Monoclonal Antibody
This antibody recognizes human and mouse RPA14. RPA (Replication Protein A) is a single-stranded DNA binding protein. Human RPA is a heterotrimeric protein containing subunits of 70, 32, and 14 kD. This protein complex is highly conserved in eukaryotes and is essential in DNA replication, homologous recombination, and nucleotide excision repair.
Positive control: HeLa, Raji, and 3T3 cells and recombinant protein.
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
Uniprot Description
Function: DNA-dependent RNA polymerase catalyzes the transcription of DNA into RNA using the four ribonucleoside triphosphates as substrates. Component of RNA polymerase I which synthesizes ribosomal RNA precursors. A14 seems to play a role in the stability of subunits ABC23 and A43. In vitro, the A14-A43 subcomplex binds single-stranded RNA. Ref.12
Subunit structure: Component of the RNA polymerase I (Pol I) complex consisting of 14 subunits. Part of a Pol I subcomplex consisting of the subunits A14 and A43. Interacts with RPA43. Ref.9
Subcellular location: Nucleus › nucleolus Ref.10.
Post-translational modification: The N-terminus is blocked.
Miscellaneous: Present with 3100 molecules/cell in log phase SD medium. Ref.11

The RPA14 rpa14 (Catalog #AAA190409) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's RPA14 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunoblot, Immunoprecipitation. Immunoblotting, immunoprecipitation: use at 0.2-1 ug/ml. Positive control: HeLa, Raji, and 3T3 cells and recombinant protein. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the RPA14 rpa14 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "RPA14, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
