Testing Data

(Cell lysates of 293T (20ug) were resolved by SDS-PAGE, transferred to NC membrane and probed with anti-human PPM1G (1:1,000). Proteins were visualized using a goat anti-mouse secondary antibody conjugated to HRP and an ECL detection system.)

Related Product Information for anti-PPM1G antibody
PPP1G1 binds magnesium or manganese ions and is widely expressed, being most abundant in testis, skeletal muscle and heart. PPP1G1 is a member of the PP2C family of Ser/Thr protein phosphatases. PP2C family members are known to be negative regulators of cell stress response pathways. PPP1G1 is responsible for the dephosphorylation of ore-mRNA splicing factors, which is important for the formation of functional spliceosome. Studies of a similar gene in mice suggested a role for this phosphatase in regulating cell cycle progression.

NCBI Description

The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the PP2C family of Ser/Thr protein phosphatases. PP2C family members are known to be negative regulators of cell stress response pathways. This phosphatase is found to be responsible for the dephosphorylation of Pre-mRNA splicing factors, which is important for the formation of functional spliceosome. Studies of a similar gene in mice suggested a role of this phosphatase in regulating cell cycle progression. [provided by RefSeq, Apr 2010]

Product Notes

The PPM1G ppm1g (Catalog #AAA645156) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The PPM1G, CT (Protein Phosphatase 1G, Protein Phosphatase 1C, Protein Phosphatase 2C Isoform gamma, PP2C-gamma, Protein Phosphatase Magnesium-dependent 1 gamma, PPM1C) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's PPM1G can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC). Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Dilution: Western Blot: 1:1000-1:2000 Immunohistochemistry (Formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded): 5ug/ml. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the PPM1G ppm1g for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "PPM1G, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
