Human PD1/PDCD1/CD279 Monoclonal Antibody | anti-PDCD1 antibody
PD1/PDCD1/CD279 Neutralizing Antibody
Predicted to React with: KD of the antibody is <1.43E-10M for PD1 as measured by OCTET RED System.
Predicted to React with: KD of the antibody is <1.43E-10M for PD1 as measured by OCTET RED System.
No cross-reactivity in ELISA with Mouse PD1 Protein
Neutralization: The neutralization activity of PD1 Neutralizing Antibody is Measured by its ability to neutralize PD1_PD-L1 pathway mediated inhibition of IFN-gamma secretion in the CD4+ T cells.
Testing Data
(Effect of Human PD1 HN94 antibody on IFN-gamma production in the Mixed Lymphocyte Reaction (MLR). Purified CD4+ T cells were cultured with allogeneic dendritic cells, as prepared by culturing monocytes in GM-CSF and IL-4 medium for six days, in the medium containing serial concentrations of human PD1-HN94-IgG4. Five days later, the IFN-gamma production in the medium was evaluated (A), and the cell proliferation was measured by WST-8.assay (B).)
Testing Data
(Effect of Human PD1 HN94 antibody on IL-2 production in the Mixed Lymphocyte Reaction (MLR). Purified CD4+ T cells were cultured with allogeneic dendritic cells, as prepared by culturing monocytes in GM-CSF and IL-4 medium for six days, in the medium containing serial concentrations of human PD1-HN94-IgG4. Five days later, the IL-2 production in the medium was evaluated.)
Testing Data
(Safety informationNon specific binding in human tissuesNo non-specific or specific binding were detected on 12 human formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue sections using sensitive HPR detection system.)
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene encodes a cell surface membrane protein of the immunoglobulin superfamily. This protein is expressed in pro-B-cells and is thought to play a role in their differentiation. In mice, expression of this gene is induced in the thymus when anti-CD3 antibodies are injected and large numbers of thymocytes undergo apoptosis. Mice deficient for this gene bred on a BALB/c background developed dilated cardiomyopathy and died from congestive heart failure. These studies suggest that this gene product may also be important in T cell function and contribute to the prevention of autoimmune diseases. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

Product Notes
The PDCD1 (Catalog #AAA8102539) is an Antibody produced from Human and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The PD1/PDCD1/CD279 Neutralizing Antibody reacts with Human Predicted to React with: KD of the antibody is <1.43E-10M for PD1 as measured by OCTET RED System. and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's PD1/PDCD1/CD279 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Blocking (BL), Neutralization. Block: In a functional ELISA which immobilized recombinant Human PD1/Fc Chimera at 1ug/mL (100uL/well) in the plate, the Human PD1 Monoclonal Antibody can block the binding of 1ug/mL of biotinylated recombinant Human PD-L1 to human PD1, the EC50 is 0.5-1ug/mL. Neutralization: The neutralization activity of PD1 Neutralizing Antibody is Measured by its ability to neutralize PD1_PD-L1 pathway mediated inhibition of IFN-gamma secretion in the CD4+ T cells. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the PDCD1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "PD1/PDCD1/CD279, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
