Applicable Applications for anti-Nogo 66 Receptor antibody
ELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB)
Application Notes
Western Blot, Direct ELISA
Dilution: Direct ELISA: This antibody can be used at 0.5-1.0ug/mL with the appropriate secondary reagents to detect mouse NgR. The detection limit for rmNgR is approximately 10 ng/well. Western Blot: This antibody can be used at 1-2ug/mL with the appropriate secondary reagents to detect mouse NgR. The detection limit for rmNgR is approximately 25 ng/lane under non-reducing and reducing conditions.
Immunogen
NS0-derived rmNgR extracellular domain
Hybridoma
Produced from a hybridoma resulting from the fusion of a mouse myeloma with B cells obtained from a rat immunized with purified, NS0-derived, recombinant mouse Nogo receptor (rmNgR) extracellular domain.
Preparation and Storage
Lyophilized powder may be stored at 4 degree C for short-term only. Reconstitute to nominal volume by adding sterile 40-50% glycerol and store at -20 degree C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20 degree C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Related Product Information for anti-Nogo 66 Receptor antibody
NgR, also named reticulon 4 receptor, is a glycosylphosphoinositol (GPI)-anchored protein that belongs to the family of leucine-rich repeat proteins. NgR plays an essential role in mediating axon growth inhibition induced by the myelin-derived proteins Nogo, myelinassociated glycoprotein (MAG), and myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein (Omgp). Upon ligand binding, NgR associates with and activates the p75 neurotrophin receptor (p75NTR), a tumor necrosis factor superfamily member (TNFRSF16).

Product Notes

The Nogo 66 Receptor (Catalog #AAA604267) is an Antibody produced from Rat and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Nogo 66 Receptor (Ngr) reacts with Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Nogo 66 Receptor can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB). Western Blot, Direct ELISA Dilution: Direct ELISA: This antibody can be used at 0.5-1.0ug/mL with the appropriate secondary reagents to detect mouse NgR. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the Nogo 66 Receptor for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Nogo 66 Receptor, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
