Reactive with lung cancer-associated antigen (cluster 1). Reacts with a membrane-associated protein present in normal and malignant neuroendocrine tissues including a subgroup of SCLC. Lack of reactivity with other markers within this SCLC subgroup correlates with a bad response to chemotherapy. Recommended for Duodenum, bronchial tissue. Species Crossreactivity: Human

Suitable for use in Immunoblot and Immunohistochemistry (frozen tissue).
Dilution: Immunohistochemistry: 1:5-1:10; Incubation Time 1 hr at room temperature.
Immunogen
Isolated from small cell lung carcinoma-derived cell line.
Preparation and Storage
May be stored at 4 degree C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and add glycerol (40-50%). Store at -20 degree C or colder. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 degree C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

Product Notes

The Lung Cancer-Associated Antigen (Catalog #AAA603523) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Lung Cancer-Associated Antigen (Cluster 1, SCLC) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Lung Cancer-Associated Antigen can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC). Suitable for use in Immunoblot and Immunohistochemistry (frozen tissue). Dilution: Immunohistochemistry: 1:5-1:10; Incubation Time 1 hr at room temperature. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the Lung Cancer-Associated Antigen for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Lung Cancer-Associated Antigen, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
