Recombinant Anti-LRPAP1 Antibody, Rabbit Monoclonal
ELISA: 1:5000-1:10,000
ICC/IF: 1:20-1:100
IP: 1-4uL/mg of lysate
Immunofluorescence (IF)
(Immunofluorescence staining of Human LRPAP1 in MCF7 cells. Cells were fixed with 4% PFA, permeabilzed with 0.3% Triton X-100 in PBS, blocked with 10% serum, and incubated with rabbit anti-Human LRPAP1 monoclonal antibody (1:60) at 37 degree C 1 hour. Then cells were stained with the Alexa Fluor 594-conjugated goat Anti-rabbit IgG secondary antibody (red) and counterstained with DAPI (blue). Positive staining was localized to cytoplasm.)

NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene encodes a protein that interacts with the low density lipoprotein (LDL) receptor-related protein and facilitates its proper folding and localization by preventing the binding of ligands. Mutations in this gene have been identified in individuals with myopia 23. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. [provided by RefSeq, Dec 2013]
Uniprot Description
LRPAP1: Interacts with LRP1/alpha-2-macroglobulin receptor and glycoprotein 330. In complex with the alpha-2-MR or gp330, it may have some role in the pathogenesis of membrane glomerular nephritis. Belongs to the alpha-2-MRAP family.
Protein type: Receptor, misc.
Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 4p16.3
Cellular Component: cell surface; endoplasmic reticulum; extracellular region; plasma membrane; integral to membrane; vesicle
Molecular Function: heparin binding; receptor antagonist activity; protein binding; low-density lipoprotein receptor binding; unfolded protein binding; asialoglycoprotein receptor activity
Biological Process: vesicle-mediated transport; receptor-mediated endocytosis; protein folding; negative regulation of protein binding

Product Notes
The LRPAP1 lrpap1 (Catalog #AAA8104875) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Recombinant Anti-LRPAP1 Antibody, Rabbit Monoclonal reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's LRPAP1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), ELISA (EIA), Immunocytochemistry (ICC), Immunofluorescence (IF), Immunoprecipitation (IP). WB: 1:500-1:2000 ELISA: 1:5000-1:10,000 ICC/IF: 1:20-1:100 IP: 1-4uL/mg of lysate. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the LRPAP1 lrpap1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "LRPAP1, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
