Synonyms
IPO-38; Monoclonal Antibody; IPO-38 (Proliferation Marker) Mouse Monoclonal Antibody; anti-IPO-38 antibody
Ordering
For Research Use Only!
Host
Mouse
Reactivity
Human, Mouse, Rat
Clonality
Monoclonal
Isotype
IgM, kappa
Clone Number
IPO-38
Specificity
Recognizes a protein of 14-16kDa, which is a novel nuclear antigen of proliferating cells. IPO-38 antigen is present in the nuclei of proliferating cells such as Hodgkin's disease and non-Hodgkin's lymphomas, different forms of leukemias, breast and colorectal carcinomas, and PHA-stimulated lymphocytes. It is not expressed in the cells of non-stimulated lymphocytes and granulocytes. IPO-38 may be a useful marker of cell proliferation during monitoring of tumor progression.
Form/Format
200ug/ml of Ab purified from Bioreactor Concentrate. Prepared in 10mM PBS with 0.05% BSA & 0.05% azide. Also available WITHOUT BSA & azide at 1.0mg/ml.
Applicable Applications for anti-IPO-38 antibody
Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS), Immunofluorescence (IF), Immunohistochemistry (IHC) Formalin
Application Notes
Flow Cytometry (0.5-1ug/million cells in 0.1ml)
Immunofluorescence (0.5-1ug/ml)
Immunohistochemistry (Formalin-fixed) (0.5-1.0ug/ml for 30 minutes at RT) (Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires boiling tissue sections in 10mM Citrate, pH 6.0, for 10-20 min followed by cooling at RT for 20 minutes)
Cellular Localization
Nuclear
Immunogen
Spleen cells of a patient with hairy cell leukemia
Positive Control
Raji and PHA-stimulated (>12 hours) human or mouse lymphocytes. Breast and colorectal carcinomas.
Preparation and Storage
Antibody with azide - store at 2 to 8 degree C. Antibody without azide - store at -20 to -80 degree C. Antibody is stable for 24 months. Non-hazardous. No MSDS required.

Product Notes

The IPO-38 (Catalog #AAA438808) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The IPO-38 (Proliferation Marker) Mouse Monoclonal Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's IPO-38 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS), Immunofluorescence (IF), Immunohistochemistry (IHC) Formalin. Flow Cytometry (0.5-1ug/million cells in 0.1ml) Immunofluorescence (0.5-1ug/ml) Immunohistochemistry (Formalin-fixed) (0.5-1.0ug/ml for 30 minutes at RT) (Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires boiling tissue sections in 10mM Citrate, pH 6.0, for 10-20 min followed by cooling at RT for 20 minutes). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the IPO-38 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "IPO-38, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
