Related Product Information for anti-IFNa2 antibody
The IFN-a family consists of 24 or more genes orpseudo-genes. IFN-a is one of the two distinct families of human IFN-a. The alpha interferons are mainly produced by lymphocytes, monocytes, macrophages, and cell lines such at Namalwa and KG1 following induction by viruses, nucleic acids, and glucocorticoid hormones. They are involved in virus resistance on target cells, inhibition of cell proliferation, induction of cytokines, and regulation of expression of MHC class I antigens.

Product Notes

The IFNa2 (Catalog #AAA6266233) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Interferon alpha 2 (IFNa2) (BSA & Azide Free) (Biotin) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Interferon alpha 2 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Blocking studies. Other applications have not been tested. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the IFNa2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Interferon alpha 2, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
