Related Product Information for anti-ITGB3 antibody
The involvement of integrins in vascular proliferation, adhesion, and wound repair and have been well-documented. The integrin family of cell adhesion receptors consists of at least 16 membrane-associated heterodimers, composed of an alpha and beta subunit that associate in a non-covalent manner. The structure and functional diversity of the integrin family are based upon the pairing abilities of the individual alpha and beta subunits. Key to these molecular interactions between the integrin receptors and their respective ligands is the recognition of the Arg-Gly-Asp (RGD) sequence, known to be present in the extracellular matrix components fibronectin, vitronectin, collagen, fibrinogen, and von Willebrand factor. (Cancer and Metastasis Reviews 1991. 10:3). Due to its involvement in angiogenesis, the integrin aVb3 receptor is one of the most intensely studied of the integrin receptors.

Product Notes

The ITGB3 (Catalog #AAA601612) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Integrin alphaV, beta3 reacts with Avian, Bovine, Canine, Chicken, Human, Monkey, Porcine, Rabbit and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Integrin alphaV, beta3 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunoprecipitation (IP), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunofluorescence (IF). Suitable for use in Immunoprecipitation, Immunoflourescence, Immunohistochemistry and Inhibition. Not effective for immunohistochemical staining of paraffin-embedded tissue sections. Dilution: Immunohistochemistry/Immunofluorescence: 10ug/ml for staining of bFGF-treated 6um cryosections of chick chorioallantoic membrane fixed with acetone. Inhibition: 10-25ug/ml adheres cells to vitronectin coated surfaces. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the ITGB3 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Integrin alphaV, beta3, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
