Preparation and Storage
Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20 degree C. Stable for 12 months at -20 degree C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS, sterile 40-50% glycerol, aliquot and store at -20 degree C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20 degree C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

IGFL-3 (insulin-like growth factor-like 3) is one of four small (~11kD), probably secreted human IGFL family members. This family shares A and B chain cysteine motifs with the IGF superfamily, and has an additional cysteine motif within an uncleaved region corresponding to the C peptide of the IGF family. Mature IGFL-3 is a 101aa protein that shares 41% aa identity with the sole mouse IGFL. RT-PCR data indicates its expression within the cerebellum.
